# Delete post

`DELETE /api/businesses/{business_id}/posts/{post_id}`

## Request

Delete a post.

Removes the post from Marky. Use this to discard a draft you no longer want
or to clear a scheduled/queued post so it does not publish. This does NOT
delete anything already posted to a social platform — to keep that history
intact, a post that has already been published cannot be deleted.

Errors:
    400 invalid_request: The post is already published, so it can't be deleted.
    401 authentication_required: API key or token is missing, invalid, or revoked.
    403 permission_denied: Your plan does not include API access, or this business is not in your org.
    404 resource_not_found: No post with that ID exists, or it is not in this business.
    429 rate_limit_exceeded: You sent too many requests this minute.
