# Delete Segment

`DELETE /segments/{id}`

## Request

Delete the segment, leaving its stored filter copy in place. Requires contacts:write.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `204`

Segment deleted; response body is empty.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `403`: Forbidden - the access token's scopes or workspace grant do not cover this request
- `404`: Not Found
