# Edit Data Store

`PATCH /data_stores/{data_store_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.myaltimate.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.myaltimate.com/data_stores/{data_store_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Edit a Snowflake or Tableau connection's display name, description or
credentials. Identity fields are rejected, see ``DataStoreEditRequest``.

The body is read by ``raw_json_body`` and validated by
``parse_edit_request``: FastAPI's own body validation attaches the body to
its errors, and the global handler sends them to an alert, which would leak
a submitted password. The dependencies run in order: authentication and
permission, the feature flag, then the per-tenant rate limit shared with the
dbt rename route.
