# Get Table Metadata Endpoint

`POST /copilot/quickchat/table-metadata`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.myaltimate.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.myaltimate.com/copilot/quickchat/table-metadata`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Get comprehensive table metadata, statistics, and clustering information.

This endpoint provides all data needed for table optimization analysis:
- Table metadata (schema, columns, data types)
- Table statistics (storage, read/write counts, costs)
- Clustering information (if clustering keys exist)

Args:
    request: Contains fully_qualified_names (list of database.schema.table)
             and optional instance_id

Returns:
    Dictionary with table names as keys and optimization data as values

## Request body

- TableMetadataRequest: Request schema for table metadata and statistics.
  - `fully_qualified_names` string[], required
  - `instance_id` integer, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- `400`: Invalid table name
- `403`: Not supported for public user
- `422`: Validation Error
