# Test Connection

`POST /api/v1/dbt/cloud/connections/{connection_id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.myaltimate.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Test an existing dbt Cloud connection using stored credentials.

Use this to verify that an existing connection's credentials are still valid.

## Path parameters

- `connection_id` integer, required
