# Get Databricks cost trends by product with projections

`GET /api/v1/databricks/cost/trends/by-product/estimate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.myaltimate.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.myaltimate.com/api/v1/databricks/cost/trends/by-product/estimate`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Get cost trends by product with future projections.

Returns monthly cost data by product (JOBS, SQL, ALL_PURPOSE, etc.) with
projections to end of period. Used for Future State visualization showing
product-level historical + projected costs.

## Query parameters

- `start_date` string, date, required: Start date (typically start of year)
- `end_date` string, date, required: End date (typically end of year)
- `workspace_id` string, nullable: Filter by workspace ID
- `navigationSource` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ProductEstimateTrendsResponse: Response model for product-level cost projection endpoint.
  - `graph` ProductEstimateItem[], required: Graph data with actual and projected costs by product
    - `date` string, required: Period date (ISO format)
    - `product` string, required: Product name (JOBS, SQL, etc.)
    - `category` string, required: Category the product belongs to
    - `cost` number: Actual cost for the period
    - `cost_estimate` number: Projected cost for the period
    - `is_estimate` boolean: Whether this is a projected period
    - `percentage_change` number, nullable: Percentage change from previous period
  - `products` string[], required: Unique product names for chart legend
  - `currency` string: Currency code

## Other responses

- `403`: Not authorized
- `404`: No ClickHouse database configured
- `422`: Validation Error
