# Delete an asset track

`DELETE /video/v1/assets/{ASSET_ID}/tracks/{TRACK_ID}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mux.com`
- URL: `https://api.mux.com/video/v1/assets/{ASSET_ID}/tracks/{TRACK_ID}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer

Removes a text or additional audio track from an asset. Neither video nor the primary audio track can be removed.
