# Change an event (iCloud Calendar)

`POST /v1/icloud_calendar/update_event`

## Request

Change the title, times, location or notes of an event, leaving the rest as it was; refused if it changed since it was read, or has attendees, who would be told.

## Request body

- CalendarUpdateEventInput
  - `id` string, required: The `id` from list_events: an occurrence of a repeating event changes that occurrence only.
  - `whole_series` boolean: For an occurrence: change title, location and notes of every occurrence instead; times of a series cannot change.
  - `title` string: The new title.
  - `start` union: New start: a date for all-day, or a date and time with an offset or in `time_zone`.

  - `end` union: New end, the same kind as `start`.

  - `time_zone` string: IANA zone that new times without an offset are in.
  - `location` string, nullable: New location; null removes it.
  - `notes` string, nullable: New notes; null removes them.
