# Create an event (iCloud Calendar)

`POST /v1/icloud_calendar/create_event`

Create a single event in a calendar; it invites nobody and does not repeat, and a person can remove it in their calendar app.

## Request body

- CalendarCreateEventInput
  - `calendar_id` string: Calendar id from list_calendars; omit for the first one that can be written to.
  - `title` string, required: What the event is called.
  - `start` union, required: A date for an all-day event, or a date and time, with an offset or local to `time_zone`.

  - `end` union: Same kind as `start`: the last day of an all-day event, or the end time; omit for one hour, or one day.

  - `time_zone` string: IANA zone, e.g. `Europe/London`, that times without an offset are in.
  - `location` string: Where it happens, as one line.
  - `notes` string: Notes shown with the event.
  - `url` string, uri: A link to go with it.
