# Retrieve an OCR request

`GET /ocr/{request_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.munito.ai/inference/v1`
- URL: `https://api.munito.ai/inference/v1/ocr/{request_id}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns the state of an OCR request: `running` with the pages that are done, then `completed` with the full result, or `failed`, `cancelled` or `timed_out`.

## Path parameters

- `request_id` string, required

## Response `200`

The request state, and the result when it is `completed`.

## Other responses

- `404`: No OCR request with this id exists in your workspace.
