# Clone Template

`POST /api/declaration-templates/{template_id}/clone`

Clone a template (a system default or one of the company's own) into a NEW
company-owned, editable copy. The original is left untouched.

Only HTML templates can be cloned — PDF form-fill templates (e.g. DUA) use a
different mechanism and are out of scope.

Body (optional):
    name: str — name for the copy (defaults to "Cópia de {original}")
