# Delete Contract

`DELETE /api/contracts/{contract_id}`

Hard-delete contract. NOT exposed in the UI — kept for future
admin / system tooling. Use POST /{id}/suspend from the application.

Business rules:
- Can delete if IDestado = 1 (open) or 3 (suspended)
- Cannot delete if IDestado = 2 (closed)

## Path parameters

- `contract_id` integer, required

- `x-api-token` string, nullable
