# Identify visitor

`POST /public/tracking/identify`

Identify a visitor by linking visitor_id to email/name/phone.

Called when a visitor submits a form or provides their information.

## Headers

- `x-website-token` string, nullable

## Request body

- IdentifyRequest
  - `visitor_id` string, required — Visitor identifier to link
  - `email` string, required — Visitor email address
  - `name` string, nullable — Visitor name
  - `phone` string, nullable — Visitor phone number
