# Extend an active reservation by another window

`POST /api/call-tracking/numbers/reservations/{reservation_id}/extend`

Extend a Telnyx number reservation. Telnyx allows one extension per
reservation. After that, a fresh reservation must be created (i.e. the
frontend should send the user back to the selection step).

## Path parameters

- `reservation_id` string, required — Telnyx reservation ID
