# Rotate the signing secret

`POST /webhooks/{id}/rotate-secret`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.multi-upload-tool.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.multi-upload-tool.com/api/v1/webhooks/{id}/rotate-secret`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Generates a new signing secret, effective immediately (retries already queued are signed with it too), and returns it.

## Response `200`

The new secret.

## Other responses

- `401`: The API key is missing, invalid, revoked or expired.
- `404`: No such resource, or it does not belong to the caller.
- `429`: Too many requests for this endpoint group.
