# Soft Disconnect Account

`POST /social/accounts/{account_id}/disconnect`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.muapi.ai`
- URL: `https://api.muapi.ai/social/accounts/{account_id}/disconnect`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `x-api-key`
  - OAuth 2 (client credentials, token URL `https://api.muapi.ai/oauth/token`)

Revoke access for a connected account without deleting it.

The account stops working for publishing until reconnected, but its row
(name, id, external_user_id if any) is kept. For PostForMe-backed
platforms (TikTok/Instagram) reconnecting the same underlying account
reactivates this row (postforme_connect_callback dedupes by
platform_user_id and clears disconnected_at). YouTube's direct OAuth
callback does not dedupe on reconnect, so reauthorizing the same channel
creates a new row instead — pre-existing behavior, unrelated to this.
