# Delete Hosted Provider

`DELETE /api/v1/hosted-providers/{provider}`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Otari-Key`
  - API key in header `x-api-key`

Remove a provider and its roster, leaving the runtime with no hosted path for it.

A provider defined in configuration answers 409. A stored provider that
overrides a configured one keeps the roster, which the configured one
serves again.

- `provider` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- Message: A human-readable acknowledgment for an operation with nothing to return.
  - `message` string, required: What happened.
