# Get image upload URL

`POST /uploads/image/get_upload_url`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mosaic.so`
- URL: `https://api.mosaic.so/uploads/image/get_upload_url`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Get a pre-signed URL for image upload. Use this to upload images for node parameters (e.g., logos, watermarks). Max 50MB. After uploading, call `/uploads/image/finalize_upload` to get the image UUID.

## Response `200`

Upload URL generated successfully

- ImageUploadUrlResponse
  - `image_id` string: UUID for the image. Use this to call finalize_upload and in update_params.
  - `upload_url` string: URL to POST the file to
  - `upload_fields` object: Form fields to include before the file in the POST request
  - `max_file_size_bytes` integer: Maximum file size (50MB)

- `401`: Authentication failed
