# Downloads the document transmitted for an e-invoice

`GET /api/v1/wallets/{walletId}/e-invoices/{eInvoiceId}/document`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Required scope: `e-invoices:read` </br>Organization authorization: `supported`</br>Returns the document exactly as it was transmitted to the buyer, as a file attachment. The format is whatever the e-invoicing network required — UBL XML everywhere Monta operates today, but not guaranteed as more countries go live. Switch on the response `Content-Type` rather than assuming XML.

Document successfully retrieved

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is invalid
- `401`: Consumer with provided credentials was not found
- `403`: Consumer does not have access to the specified wallet
- `404`: No such e-invoice was issued from the specified wallet
