# Transfer vehicle ownership

`POST /api/v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/users/{userId}/transfer-ownership`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://partner-api.monta.com`
- URL: `https://partner-api.monta.com/api/v1/vehicles/{vehicleId}/users/{userId}/transfer-ownership`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Required scope: `vehicles:write`. Transfers ownership of the vehicle to the given user, who must already be one of the vehicle's shared users.

## Response `200`

Vehicle with the new owner

  - `id` integer: Id of the vehicle
  - `teamId` integer, nullable: Team Id that the vehicle belongs to
  - `userId` integer, nullable: User Id that the vehicle belongs to
  - `name` string, nullable: Name of the vehicle, can be customized by the user
  - `licensePlate` string, nullable: License plate of the vehicle
  - `batteryCapacityKwh` number, double, nullable: Battery capacity of the vehicle in Kwh
  - `maxPowerKwAc` number, double, nullable: Maximum AC charging power (in kW) that the vehicle can accept when charging via an AC charger
  - `maxPowerKwDc` number, double, nullable: Maximum DC charging power (in kW) that the vehicle can accept when using a DC fast charger
  - `displayName` string, nullable: Display name of the vehicle
  - `integrationId` integer, nullable: Id of the vehicle integration
  - `integrationStatus` string, nullable: Status of the vehicle integration
  - `manuallyConfiguredAt` string, date-time, nullable: Timestamp when the vehicle was manually configured (null if using catalog model)
  - `customSpecification` VehicleCustomSpecification
    - `brand` string, nullable: Manually configured vehicle brand
    - `model` string, nullable: Manually configured vehicle model
    - `vehicleType` string, nullable: Vehicle type
  - `vid` string, nullable: VID identifier for auto-charge

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is invalid
- `401`: Consumer with provided credentials was not found
- `403`: Operator doesn't have access to resource
- `404`: Entity with the provided id was not found
