# Update a team's bank account

`PATCH /api/v1/teams/{teamId}/bank-accounts/{bankAccountId}`

Required scope: `team-bank-accounts:write` </br>Organization authorization: `supported`</br></br>An omitted field keeps its stored value. The account must still satisfy the fields its `type` requires once the update is applied.

  - `name` string, nullable: Name of the bank account
  - `type` 'iban' | 'swift' | 'bsb' | 'sort_account' | 'routing_account' | 'local_canadian' | 'emirates', required: Which set of fields identifies the account.</br></br>`iban` requires `iban`. `swift` requires `swift`. `bsb` requires `bsb`. `sort_account` requires `sortCode` and `accountNumber`. `routing_account` requires `routingNumber`, `accountNumber` and `accountType`. `local_canadian` requires `institutionNumber`, `transitNumber` and `accountNumber`. `emirates` requires `iban`.
  - `iban` string, nullable: IBAN of the bank account. Validated against its check digits.
  - `swift` string, nullable: SWIFT/BIC of the bank account
  - `bsb` string, nullable: BSB number of the bank account (Australia)
  - `sortCode` string, nullable: Sort code of the bank account (United Kingdom)
  - `accountNumber` string, nullable: Account number of the bank account
  - `routingNumber` string, nullable: Routing number of the bank account (United States)
  - `accountType` 'checking' | 'savings', nullable: Account type, required with receive option `routing_account`
  - `transitNumber` string, nullable: Transit number of the bank account (Canada, 5 digits)
  - `institutionNumber` string, nullable: Institution number of the bank account (Canada, 3 digits)

  - `iban` string, nullable: IBAN of the bank account
  - `swift` string, nullable: SWIFT/BIC of the bank account
  - `bsb` string, nullable: BSB number of the bank account (Australia)
  - `sortCode` string, nullable: Sort code of the bank account (United Kingdom)
  - `accountNumber` string, nullable: Account number of the bank account
  - `routingNumber` string, nullable: Routing number of the bank account (United States)
