# Delete an existing cost center

`DELETE /api/v1/cost-centers/{costCenterId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://partner-api.monta.com`
- URL: `https://partner-api.monta.com/api/v1/cost-centers/{costCenterId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes a cost center. Fails with `409 Conflict` when the cost center is still in use.</br></br>Required scope: `cost-centers:delete` </br>Organization authorization: `supported`

- `costCenterId` integer, required

## Response `204`

Cost center deleted

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is invalid
- `401`: Consumer with provided credentials was not found
- `403`: Operator doesn't have access to resource
- `404`: Entity with the provided id was not found
- `409`: Cost center is still in use
