# Create or update an external ticket reference for a charge point

`PUT /api/v1/charge-points/{chargePointId}/tickets/{system}/{externalId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://partner-api.monta.com`

Idempotent on `system` + `externalId`: the first call creates the reference, later calls update it. Replaces the whole record: an omitted optional field is stored as null.</br></br>Required scope: `tickets:write` </br>Organization authorization: `supported`

- UpsertChargePointTicket: Creates or updates the reference to an external ticket on a charge point.
  - `title` string, required: Title of the ticket
  - `status` 'open' | 'acknowledged' | 'in_progress' | 'on_hold' | 'resolved' | 'closed' | 'cancelled', required: Status of the ticket, normalised across external systems
  - `nativeStatus` string, nullable: Status as reported by the external system
  - `url` string, nullable: HTTPS link to the ticket in the external system
  - `alertId` string, nullable: Id of the alert that triggered the ticket
  - `alertOpenedAt` string, date-time, nullable: When the triggering alert was opened
  - `ticketCreatedAt` string, date-time, nullable: When the ticket was created in the external system
  - `commentCount` integer, nullable: Number of comments on the ticket in the external system
  - `lastCommentAt` string, date-time, nullable: When the last comment was added in the external system
  - `returnedToServiceAt` string, date-time, nullable: When the external system reported the charge point back in service

Ticket reference created or updated

- ChargePointTicket: Reference to a ticket in an external maintenance or ticketing system, linked to a charge point.
  - `id` integer: Id of this ticket reference
  - `chargePointId` integer: Id of the charge point this ticket belongs to
  - `system` string, required: External system the ticket lives in
  - `externalId` string, required: Id of the ticket in the external system
  - `title` string, required: Title of the ticket
  - `status` 'open' | 'acknowledged' | 'in_progress' | 'on_hold' | 'resolved' | 'closed' | 'cancelled', required: Status of the ticket, normalised across external systems
  - `nativeStatus` string, nullable: Status as reported by the external system
  - `url` string, nullable: Link to the ticket in the external system
  - `alertId` string, nullable: Id of the alert that triggered the ticket
  - `alertOpenedAt` string, date-time, nullable: When the triggering alert was opened

- `400`: Invalid ticket fields or path parameters
- `401`: Consumer with provided credentials was not found
- `403`: Operator doesn't have access to resource
- `404`: Entity with the provided id was not found
