# Accept a quote

`POST /receivables/{receivable_id}/accept`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.sandbox.monite.com/v1`
- URL: `https://api.sandbox.monite.com/v1/receivables/{receivable_id}/accept`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Only quotes in the `issued` status can be accepted.

When a quote is accepted, Monite automatically creates a draft invoice based on this quote. To find the newly created invoice, use `GET /receivables?based_on=QUOTE_ID`.

  - `signature` Signature
    - `email` string, email, required: The email of the person who signed the quote.
    - `full_name` string, required: The full name of the person who signed the quote.
    - `signature_image` string, required: Base64-encoded PNG image of the signature of the person who signed the quote.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: The `Authorization` header is missing or contains an invalid or expired access token. See [Authentication](https://docs.monite.com/api/concepts/authentication) to learn how to authenticate API calls.
- `403`: The specified access token does not have permissions to perform this operation.
- `404`: A quote with the specified ID was not found.
- `409`: Possible reasons: * The specified quote is not in the `issued` status. * The quote requires a signature (`signature_required`=`true`) but the `signature` object was not provided in the request.
- `422`: Validation Error
- `429`: API rate limit has been exceeded. Check the response headers for the rate limit information.
