# Send a test event to the subscription's URL

`POST /api/v1/webhooks/{sub_id}/test`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://monit.rs`
- URL: `https://monit.rs/api/v1/webhooks/{sub_id}/test`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Enqueues a synthetic `incident.opened` delivery. Fires within ~10s. Useful for smoke-testing a new subscription.

## Path parameters

- `sub_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `202`

Enqueued; returns the delivery_id you can poll.

## Other responses

- `404`: Not found.
