# Subscribe an email to the weekly changelog digest

`POST /api/v1/public/digest/subscribe`

Records an opt-in for the weekly email digest. A confirmation email is sent immediately; no digest content ships until the recipient clicks the confirmation link in that email.

  - `email` string, email, required
  - `source` string: Free-form attribution string; recorded for analytics.

## Response `200`

Subscription recorded; confirmation email sent.

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed email.
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded for this IP.
