# Create One Organization API Key

`POST /api/atlas/v2/orgs/{orgId}/apiKeys`

Creates one API key for the specified organization. An organization API key grants programmatic access to an organization. You can't use the API key to log into the console.

## Path parameters

- `orgId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `envelope` boolean
- `pretty` boolean

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `401` — Unauthorized.
- `403` — Forbidden.
- `404` — Not Found.
- `429` — Too Many Requests.
- `500` — Internal Server Error.
