# Create One Project

`POST /api/atlas/v2/groups`

Creates one project. Projects group clusters into logical collections that support an application environment, workload, or both. Each project can have its own users, teams, security, tags, and alert settings.

## Query parameters

- `envelope` boolean
- `pretty` boolean
- `projectOwnerId` string

## Response `200`

OK

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request.
- `401` — Unauthorized.
- `403` — Forbidden.
- `404` — Not Found.
- `409` — Conflict.
- `429` — Too Many Requests.
- `500` — Internal Server Error.
