# Delete Standby Link

`DELETE /api/atlas/v2/groups/{groupId}/standbyLinks/{standbyLinkId}`

Terminates an existing standby link and converts the active and standby clusters back to regular clusters.

## Path parameters

- `groupId` string, required
- `standbyLinkId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `envelope` boolean

## Response `204`

Standby link deleted successfully.

## Other responses

- `400` — Bad Request.
- `401` — Unauthorized.
- `403` — Forbidden.
- `404` — Not Found.
- `500` — Internal Server Error.
