# Check if funds are available for a recurring payment

`POST /recurring-payments/{recurringPaymentId}/funds-confirmation`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://identity.moneyhub.co.uk`
- URL: `https://identity.moneyhub.co.uk/recurring-payments/{recurringPaymentId}/funds-confirmation`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Requires **recurring-payment:funds_confirmation** scope.

## Path parameters

- `recurringPaymentId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- object
  - `amount` string, required: The amount to check funds for
  - `currency` string: The currency code (defaults to GBP if not provided)

## Response `200`

Successful confirmation of funds response

- object
  - `data` object
    - `fundsAvailable` boolean: Whether sufficient funds are available for the recurring payment
    - `fundsAvailableAt` string, date-time: The timestamp when the funds availability was checked
    - `amount` string: The amount that was checked
    - `currency` string: The currency of the amount
    - `recurringPaymentId` string: The ID of the recurring payment
  - `meta` object

## Other responses

- `401`: Unsuccessful Response - Not authorised - Missing authorization header - Invalid access Token
- `403`: Unsuccessful Response - Forbidden - Invalid scopes
- `404`: Unsuccessful Response - Resource Not found
