# Generate a visual

`POST /api/v1/brands/{brandId}/visuals`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.mondovo.com`
- URL: `https://app.mondovo.com/api/v1/brands/{brandId}/visuals`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Spends Creative Credits. Requires `creative:generate`, `idempotency_key`, and `expected_credit_cost` matching the quote. Enforces the connection daily cap. Poll `GET /api/v1/jobs/{id}`.

## Response `201`

Job started.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication failed. Error codes: `invalid_api_key` (missing/unknown key), `key_revoked`, `key_expired`.
- `403`: Authenticated but not allowed. Error codes: `addon_required` (the API key’s workspace no longer has the Agency add-on — checked on every request, not just at key creation) and `missing_scope` (the key lacks the scope this endpoint needs).
- `409`: `cost_mismatch`.
- `429`: Hourly API rate limit (`rate_limit_exceeded`) or this connection's daily Creative Credit cap (`daily_spend_cap`).
- `500`: Unexpected server error (`internal_error`). Safe to retry.
