# Download gene mutations as CSV

`GET /gene_mutations_csv`

Download all mutations for a gene across all samples as a CSV file. Includes sample name, primary site, and all mutation annotation fields.

## Query parameters

- `gene` string, required
- `cancer_type` string

## Response `200`

CSV file with gene mutation data across all samples.

## Other responses

- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. You are sending too many requests. Limits: 5 requests/second, 120 requests/minute, 300 requests/10 minutes. Exceeding the 10-minute threshold blocks your IP for the remainder of that window.
