# Pause or Resume a Webhook Subscription

`PATCH /v1/webhooks/subscriptions/{subscription_id}`

## Request

Pausing stops delivery without losing the subscription or its secret. Resuming re-arms every trigger from that moment: nothing that happened while the subscription was paused is delivered retroactively.

**Error codes**

| `not_found` | 422 | No subscription with this id exists in the calling org. | Check the id; a deleted subscription is never returned. |
