# Reset an Account Company Field

`POST /v1/accounts/{account_id}/company-fields/{field}/reset`

Resets one company field of an account to its linked company's value and hands the field back to the company, so later company updates fill it again. Only that field changes. An account with no linked company keeps its current value until one is linked. Resetting a field nobody edited changes nothing.

When the company's data cannot be read the request fails with 502 `company_unavailable` and the account is left as it was; retry later.
