# Delete profile

`DELETE /v2/profiles/{profileId}`

Delete a profile. A deleted profile and its related credentials can no longer be used for accepting payments.

## Headers

- `idempotency-key` string

## Response `204`

An empty response.

## Other responses

- `404` — No entity with this ID exists.
- `410` — The requested resource is no longer available. The profile associated with the ID has been deleted and cannot be accessed.
- `429` — Rate Limit has been reached.
