# List Nodes (deprecated)

`GET /nodes/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.modoenergy.com/pub/v1/forecasts`
- URL: `https://api.modoenergy.com/pub/v1/forecasts/nodes/`
- Auth: API key in header `X-token`

**Deprecated.** Use `GET /nodes/{region}/{list_type}/` instead.

Returns the list of valid pricing nodes for a market region.

Use the `name` field to populate the `nodes` field in your `simulation_config` when creating a nodal forecast run via `POST /runs/`.

Requires `?region=` to select the market region and `?list_type=` to select the forecast or benchmark node list. Supports `?search=` to filter nodes by name.

- `region` 'caiso' | 'ercot' | 'gb' | 'germany' | 'isone' | 'italy' | 'miso' | 'nem' | 'nyiso' | 'pjm' | 'poland' | 'spain' | 'spp', required
- `list_type` 'forecast' | 'benchmark', required

- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer

## Response `200`

Paginated list of nodes.

- PaginatedNodeResponse
  - `count` integer: Total number of results.
  - `next` string, uri, nullable
  - `previous` string, uri, nullable
  - `results` Node[]
    - `name` string: Pricing node name. Use this value for the `nodes` field in your simulation_config when creating a nodal forecast run.
    - `voltage` number: Nominal voltage of the node in kV.
    - `zone` string: Load zone the node belongs to (e.g. Houston, North, South, West for ERCOT).

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing `region`, or missing or invalid `list_type`. Valid `list_type` values: forecast, benchmark.
- `401`: Missing or invalid X-token.
- `404`: Unknown market region. Valid values: caiso, ercot, gb, germany, isone, italy, miso, nem, nyiso, pjm, poland, spain, spp.
