# Delete an agent

`DELETE /agents/{uuid}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.modjo.ai/v2`
- URL: `https://api.modjo.ai/v2/agents/{uuid}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deletes an agent created in your workspace. Agents provided by Modjo cannot be deleted. The name of a deleted agent cannot be reused.

## Path parameters

- `uuid` string, uuid, required: Agent UUID

## Response `204`

Agent deleted

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication failed. The API key is missing or invalid.
- `403`: Agents provided by Modjo cannot be deleted
- `404`: Agent not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after the X-RateLimit-Reset interval.
