# Get a scheduling task

`GET /v1/tasks/{taskId}`

Returns one scheduling task with its application, stage, assignee, queue, tags, flags, delegation, notes, and timing metadata. The task must belong to the authenticated organization or the request returns not found.

## Path parameters

- `taskId` string, required — a task ID. Accepts the canonical prefixed compact UUID, a prefixed dashed UUID, a bare dashed UUID, or a bare compact UUID; input is case-insensitive.
