# Simulate Case Resolution

`PATCH /simulations/cases/{id}/resolve`

## Request

Resolve a compliance case, or one of its requested actions (sandbox only). Case changes are delivered asynchronously through `case.updated` and `case.resolved` webhooks.

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `category` 'onboarding.proof_of_address_failure' | 'onboarding.business_registry_verification_failure' | 'onboarding.tin_check_failure' | 'onboarding.ssn_check_failure' | 'onboarding.database_failure': The category of a pending requested action to resolve. Sends `case.updated` if other actions are still pending, or `case.resolved` if it was the last one. Omit it to resolve the whole case.
