# Update the global Anthropic Proxy backend setting

`PATCH /v1/settings/anthropic-proxy`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`
- URL: `http://localhost:9998/v1/settings/anthropic-proxy`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sets the global `endpointConfigId` used as the fallback when a
token has no per-token binding and no `model: "toolpiper:tp-<id>"`
prefix is present. Pass `null` to clear (proxy will then 503 for
unbound tokens until a binding is set).

  - `endpointConfigId` string, nullable, required: Currently selected global Anthropic Proxy backend.
  - `endpointName` string, nullable: Resolved display name for the selected EndpointConfig (UI hint).
  - `endpointModel` string, nullable: Resolved model the selected EndpointConfig will dispatch to.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `404`: Unknown endpointConfigId
