# Install a model by preset ID

`POST /v1/model-configs/install`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`
- URL: `http://localhost:9998/v1/model-configs/install`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Dispatches to the appropriate installation method (HuggingFace download,
no-op for built-in, etc.) based on the preset's backend.
