# Poll a recording job

`GET /v1/media/record/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`
- URL: `http://localhost:9998/v1/media/record/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the status of a recording. `phase` is `recording` while the capture loop
runs and `exporting` once stopped and composing the captured window. On `complete`
the saved `output_path` is present.

Recording job status

- object
  - `id` string, required
  - `status` 'processing' | 'complete' | 'failed', required
  - `phase` 'recording' | 'exporting', required
  - `progress` integer, required: 0–100 progress heartbeat
  - `output_path` string: Absolute path to the saved .mp4 (on complete)
  - `bytes` integer
  - `note` string
  - `error` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `404`: Resource not found
