# Upscale a hosted artifact

`POST /v1/media/enhance`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`
- URL: `http://localhost:9998/v1/media/enhance`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

PiperSR-upscales an already-hosted artifact (`id`) into a new one. Premium (Video
Upscale). Returns 202 with an `up_`-prefixed job id; poll
`GET /v1/video/upscale/{id}` for the upscaled `result_url`.

  - `id` string, required: A hosted media artifact id (med_-prefixed)

## Response `202`

Enhance (upscale) started

- object
  - `id` string, required: Upscale job id (up_-prefixed)
  - `status` string, required: Job status (processing)

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Source artifact is still being produced
- `429`: Too many pending upscale jobs
- `503`: CoreML upscale service not available
