# Poll a clip export job

`GET /v1/media/clip/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`
- URL: `http://localhost:9998/v1/media/clip/{id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the status of a clip export. On `complete` the saved `output_path` is
present (plus `bytes` and an optional `note`). Auth-gated because it returns an
absolute on-disk path.

## Response `200`

Clip job status

- object
  - `id` string, required
  - `status` 'processing' | 'complete' | 'failed', required
  - `progress` integer, required: 0–100 progress heartbeat
  - `output_path` string: Absolute path to the saved .mp4 (on complete)
  - `bytes` integer: Output file size in bytes (on complete)
  - `note` string: Optional note (e.g. a video-only fallback)
  - `error` string: Failure reason (on failed)

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request
- `404`: Resource not found
