# Restart an MCP server

`POST /v1/mcp-servers/{name}/restart`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Manually restarts an MCP server and resets its crash-backoff counter. `name` is URL-encoded.
