# Capture a webcam still

`POST /v1/camera/capture`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`
- URL: `http://localhost:9998/v1/camera/capture`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Captures a one-shot webcam still frame (≤ 1280 px on the longest edge) and writes it as a PNG under ToolPiper's managed artifact directory, answering the file's path. The frame is never inlined, as on `/v1/screenshot`.

## Response `200`

Captured frame, written to disk

  - `path` string, required: Absolute path of the written PNG.
  - `bytes` integer, required: Size of the written PNG in bytes.

## Other responses

- `403`: Camera permission denied
- `404`: Resource not found
