# Open a new browser tab

`POST /v1/browser/new-tab`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://localhost:9998`
- URL: `http://localhost:9998/v1/browser/new-tab`

## Request body

- object
  - `url` string: URL to open (default about:blank). Only http and https pages load.
  - `allow_local` boolean: The URL may be a localhost or private-network address (default false).

## Response `200`

New tab opened

## Other responses

- `403`: The navigation guard refused the URL (navigation_refused)
