# List the tool catalog

`GET /api/v1/data/tools`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://moda.dev`
- URL: `https://moda.dev/api/v1/data/tools`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns every tool called in the window, failing or not, with calls, failed calls, success rate, traces, effect direction, target system, and last call. Same figures as the dashboard Tool catalog.

## Query parameters

- `days_back` integer
- `sort` 'calls' | 'failure_rate' | 'failures' | 'traces' | 'last_seen'
- `search` string
- `direction` 'read' | 'write' | 'send' | 'spawn' | 'compute' | 'unknown'
- `limit` integer
- `offset` integer

## Response `200`

Successful response.

- object: Window, filters, summary (total_calls, unique_tools, total_conversations), tools, and pagination (limit, offset, total, returned, has_more, next_offset).

## Other responses

- `401`: The x-api-key header is missing, invalid, or revoked.
- `404`: The requested resource was not found.
