# Revoke a team-admin grant

`DELETE /teams/{team_id}/admins/{user_id}`

## Request

  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-Mnemom-Api-Key`

Authorized: org_admin / org_owner (or the grantee revoking their own active grant on this team). Authorization: `team_id` is resolved to its owning organization from the DB and the caller must be an owner/admin of that org — or be `user_id` themselves revoking an active self-grant on this team — so a team in an org the caller does not belong to returns the same 404 as a nonexistent team (a member with a lower role receives 403) and no other tenant's grant can be revoked.

## Response `200`

Revoked (or idempotent no-op if already revoked).

  - `revoked` boolean, required: `true` when the grant was revoked by this request; `false` on an idempotent no-op.
  - `revoked_at` string, date-time: Timestamp of revocation. Present only when `revoked: true`.
  - `revoked_by` string, uuid: Actor who revoked the grant. Present only when `revoked: true`.
  - `idempotent_noop` boolean: `true` when there was no active grant to revoke. `revoked` is `false` in this case.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate-limit exceeded. The global per-IP limiter (100 requests/minute, applied to every `/v1/*` route) rejected this request. Back off until the window resets — `Retry-After` carries the cooldown in seconds and `X-RateLimit-Reset` the absolute reset time.
- `500`: Server error — request was well-formed but the server failed to fulfill it. Typically a downstream dependency (DB / RPC / external API) returned an unexpected error.
