# Update webhook endpoint

`PATCH /orgs/{org_id}/webhooks/{endpoint_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1`
- URL: `https://api.mnemom.ai/v1/orgs/{org_id}/webhooks/{endpoint_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Update an existing webhook endpoint. Re-enabling a disabled endpoint resets the failure counter. Authorization: the caller must be an owner/admin of `org_id`, and `endpoint_id` is matched against that org's billing account before the update, so an endpoint owned by another org returns 404 and never another tenant's data. Outbound URL rules: the URL must be https and must point at a publicly reachable host. Credentials in the URL, single-label or internal host names (localhost, *.local, *.internal, *.home.arpa), and hosts that are or resolve to loopback, private (RFC1918), link-local (including cloud metadata), CGNAT, IPv6 unique-local/link-local, or other non-public addresses are rejected with 400. The host is resolved and re-checked again before every delivery and every redirect hop.

## Path parameters

- `org_id` string, required
- `endpoint_id` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `url` string, uri: New HTTPS URL
  - `description` string: Optional human-readable label for the endpoint, shown in the operator console.
  - `event_types` string[]: Replacement set of event types this endpoint subscribes to; replaces the prior subscription in full.
  - `is_active` boolean: Set to true to re-enable a disabled endpoint (resets failure counter)

## Response `200`

Updated endpoint

- WebhookEndpointPublic: Webhook endpoint without signing secret (used in list and get responses)
  - `endpoint_id` string
  - `billing_account_id` string
  - `url` string, uri
  - `description` string
  - `event_types` string[]
  - `is_active` boolean
  - `consecutive_failures` integer
  - `disabled_at` string, date-time, nullable
  - `disabled_reason` string, nullable
  - `created_at` string, date-time
  - `updated_at` string, date-time

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: Forbidden
- `404`: Resource not found
- `429`: Rate-limit exceeded. The global per-IP limiter (100 requests/minute, applied to every `/v1/*` route) rejected this request. Back off until the window resets — `Retry-After` carries the cooldown in seconds and `X-RateLimit-Reset` the absolute reset time.
- `500`: Server error — request was well-formed but the server failed to fulfill it. Typically a downstream dependency (DB / RPC / external API) returned an unexpected error.
- `503`: An upstream dependency is currently unavailable. The request was not processed; retry after the cooldown window.
